After walloping Radiohead 5-1 and crushing Kasabian and Bottom placed The Darkness they kept in the top three until they finally won the championship Five points clear.

The closest fought wins and the most voted upon games were against Coldplay 3-2 and Franz Ferdinand (finishing 2nd), only just beating them 1-0.

Dirty Pretty Things

Quite simply glorious, the fans for this band voted in there thousands each week. Receiving the most votes overall across all four leagues. They not only had an unbeaten run but also didn’t draw a game, seeing off nearly every other band in the league by a deficit of at least three goals. Only 2nd placed Zutons came close with a battle that saw a 2-1 victory for D.p.t’s.

The Cribs

Also outstanding in their winning of the Roxy 2 with only one draw to there name against little known Delays (placed 6th). 2nd placed The Rakes were hot on the heals of The Cribs all season and were for two weeks mid season sitting pretty at the top.

The View

Roxy 3 was the closest contested League and the most voted on over all. If you have ever been to a View gig then you will know there chant “The View are on fire” on the amount of votes cast for the Scottish teenagers it cant be argued. For the whole front half of the season Monster rockers The Automatic maintained the top spot. The View were steady however only loosing once to art house Larrikin Love in a 4-0 walloping. Three teams will go up to The View, The Rifles, The Young knives.
