What is the Roxy League?
Ever since Eddie Cochran and Elvis Presley squared up to each other, competing over smoothness of licks and slickness of quiffs, bands have fiercely pitted themselves against their rivals. Now the Roxy League has arrived and for the first time you, the fan, can make and break bands without spending a single penny.
Each week all eighty bands will play one game. The two opposing bands in each game will go head to head and the votes cast by fans will determine the outcome.
The band with the most votes cast over a one week period will gain 3 points. The band with the least will gain 0 points. Every Saturday the results will be announced and league tables updated.
If votes are within 5% of each other it will be declared a draw and a point will be awarded to both.
You will be able to cast one vote per game and play as many games as they like. You will also be able to chart the progress of your favourite bands throughout the weeks voting.
